The BD government has appointed to former Inspector- General of Police Nur Mohammad as Bangladesh Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco.



An official announcement on his new assignment came from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.Mr. Nur Mohammad joined Bangladesh Civil Service in 1982 in police cadre. He had discharged duties in different posts in the police headquarters, including in the peacekeeping mission in Kosovo and Yugoslavia. Mr.Nur Mohammad obtained his graduate and postgraduate degrees in History from Dhaka University. 

Mr.Nur Mohammad, who had served as the IGP from January 29, 2007 to August 31, 2010, was attached with the Establishment Ministry last August in a shakeup in the top order of the law-enforcing agencies.
